Dr. Thomas Burk is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for patients in southern New Hampshire.

Dr. Burk earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, followed by residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas—one of the nation’s most respected and busiest programs for maxillofacial trauma and reconstructive surgery.

During his residency, Dr. Burk served as chief resident and was active in clinical research, focusing on topics related to bone grafting, implant success, and surgical outcomes. He continues to advance his knowledge through ongoing professional development and leadership involvement in his specialty.

Dr. Burk is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. He also serves on the Anesthesia Committee for the New Hampshire Board of Dental Examiners.

Dr. Burk’s clinical interests include dental implant surgery, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, treatment of oral pathology, and facial trauma. His practice philosophy centers on clear communication, patient comfort, and delivering the highest standard of surgical care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Burk enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, staying active, watching sports, and cooking.
