Our Anesthesia Credentials
To administer general anesthesia in an office setting, an oral surgeon must complete at least three months of hospital-based anesthesia training and pass an in-office evaluation conducted by a state dental board-appointed examiner. The examiner inspects all monitoring and emergency equipment, and tests the doctor and staff on anesthesia-related emergencies.
Our surgeons hold and maintain this licensure, renewed every two years with required continuing education. Patient comfort and safety are our top priority in every procedure. We perform quarterly emergency drills with our entire office. Our entire staff is BLS certified and many assistants hold DAANCE certifications.
