SPEAR
Started in 2014 by Dr. Torio at Apex Oral Surgery and Dr. Diane Shieh at All Star Smile Orthodontics, our SPEAR study club is structured as a peer-to-peer learning group for dental general practitioners and specialists that focuses on interdisciplinary case collaboration, continuing education, and local professional networking. We have been bringing together small groups of general practitioners and specialists to workshop real-world patient cases using SPEAR principles of treatment planning.
Our goal is to provide high quality education that is practical, collaborative, and applicable to everyday patient care in a collegial environment with an emphasis on member participation and knowledge sharing. Interested in more information or in attending an upcoming meeting as a guest?

Greater Manchester Dental Study Club
Now entering our third year, the Greater Manchester Dental Study Club brings together dental professionals from across the region for continuing education, professional collaboration, and meaningful connection.
Originally established as a Seattle Study Club, our program has evolved into an independently organized study club. Each month, we host engaging lectures featuring respected local and national speakers who share practical insights on clinical care, emerging techniques, technology, practice management, and other topics relevant to today’s dental professionals.
Members have the opportunity to:
- Earn continuing education credits
- Learn from experienced and engaging speakers
- Explore current clinical concepts and treatment approaches
- Discuss challenging cases and interdisciplinary care
- Build stronger relationships with colleagues throughout the dental community

Practice Information
Referral Process
Send referrals electronically or by phone. Our team ensures prompt scheduling and timely communication back to your office.
Post-Op Reports
Operative notes and post-operative summaries are sent to referring offices within 24–48 hours of each procedure.
Contact & Emergencies
Our team is available during business hours for urgent consultations. After-hours emergency coverage is provided for established patients.
Scheduling
We prioritize prompt appointments for referred patients. Urgent surgical cases are typically seen within 24–72 hours.
